Hi I'm Tara. My pronouns are she/her. I live in Victoria, BC. I'm an author who writes dark lgbt fantasy, which is also my favourite genre to read. But I find that is very difficult to find, other than in say Indigo or Amazon and obviously there, the books are new and therefore cost between 16-20 dollars or more, which some of us cannot afford. Even used bookstores are getting somewhat pricey these days. Since I've always wanted to work in a bookstore, but can't due to health reasons, I decided to open my own and set myself apart from the others by 1. Pricing my books far below new retail
2. Offering mainly LGBT novels and/or novels by Canadian authors.
And 3. Offering in-person delivery to those within my area to offset shipping costs.
